The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified.

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You will find
the contact details in the "Controller" section.
How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected on the one hand when you provide it to us (e.g. during
registration). Other data is collected automatically or with your consent when you
visit the website by our IT systems (e.g. technical data such as browser, operating
system or time of the page view).
What do we use your data for?
Part of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other
data may be used to analyse your user behaviour, provided you have consented to this.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin,
recipient and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request
the correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this
and other questions on the subject of data protection.
2. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

The hosting provider is used on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest) in the secure, high-performance and reliable operation of our website.
We have concluded a data processing agreement (AVV) with the hosting provider that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data.
4. General information and mandatory information
Data protection
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
As a rule, the use of our website is possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (for example name, address or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis.
Note on the responsible party
The party responsible for data processing on this website is named in the "Controller" section. The responsible party is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
Storage duration
Unless a more specific storage period has been stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data.
Legal bases
The processing of personal data takes place on the basis of the following legal bases:
- Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO – consent of the data subject
- Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO – performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures
- Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO – legal obligation
- Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO – legitimate interests
Revocation of your consent
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
In the event of breaches of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for us is:
Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit
Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1
65189 Wiesbaden
https://datenschutz.hessen.de
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
5. Your rights as a data subject
Right of access (Art. 15 DSGVO)
You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed. If this is the case, you are entitled to access this data as well as to further information.
Right to rectification (Art. 16 DSGVO)
You have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate personal data without delay. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you have the right to request the completion of incomplete data.
Right to erasure (Art. 17 DSGVO)
You have the right to request the erasure of your personal data, provided that one of the legally stated reasons applies and the processing is not necessary.
Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 DSGVO)
You have the right to request the restriction of processing if one of the legally stated conditions is met.
Right to data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO)
You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
Right to object (Art. 21 DSGVO)
You have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you.
6. Data collection on this website
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website.
The server log files are automatically deleted after 7 days at the latest. Longer storage only takes place insofar as this is necessary to investigate specific security incidents; in this case the affected log data is exempt from deletion until the respective incident has been conclusively clarified.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device. Some cookies are technically necessary, others are used for marketing purposes.
Technically necessary cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. For marketing cookies we obtain your consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO).
Detailed information about the cookies used can be found in our Cookie Policy.
Use of a cookie consent tool
Our website uses its own cookie consent tool to obtain and document your consent to the storage of consent-requiring cookies or the use of certain technologies in a data-protection-compliant manner. The provider of this tool is us as the website operator. The tool runs on our own infrastructure; no data is transferred to third parties.
When you call up the consent banner or make your selection, the tool stores your consent decision exclusively locally in your browser's storage (localStorage) and not on our servers. The time of consent, a version identifier of the consent and the cookie categories you have selected (necessary, marketing) are stored.
Your consent decision is stored for a period of 365 days; after that your consent is requested again. You can change or revoke your selection at any time via the cookie settings or delete the locally stored data in your browser.
The cookie consent tool is used to obtain and document the consent required under § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG for the use of consent-requiring technologies. Storing your selection is strictly necessary for this purpose (§ 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG); we base the documentation of your decision on our legitimate interest in a legally compliant proof of consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
Anonymous reach measurement
To statistically evaluate the use of our website, we use a self-developed, cookieless reach measurement that runs exclusively on our own servers. No cookies are set and no data is passed on to third parties.
With each page view we record the page accessed, the host of the referring page (referrer) and an anonymous, daily changing identifier. This identifier is calculated from the IP address, browser identification and the current date (one-way procedure); the IP address itself is not stored and cannot be reconstructed from the identifier. Because the identifier changes daily, permanent recognition of individual persons is ruled out. The collection is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in anonymous reach analysis). Because no cookies or comparable technologies are used and no personal data is stored, no consent under § 25 TDDDG is required for this.
You can object to the measurement by activating the "Do Not Track" function in your browser. If this setting is active, no page view is transmitted to our reach measurement. Collected data is automatically deleted after 90 days at the latest.
Contact form / email contact
If you contact us by email, your details will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, insofar as your request is related to the performance of a contract, or on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in answering requests).
7. Registration and user account
Registration on this website
You can register on this website to use additional functions. We use the data entered for this purpose only for the purpose of using the respective offer for which you registered.
The following data is collected during registration:
- Username
- Email address
- Password (stored encrypted)
- Language setting
- Origin or campaign identifier (only if you reached us via a referral or campaign link)
- Time of registration
The processing is based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (performance of a contract). We process the origin or campaign identifier on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in analysing the origin of our registrations).
Providing a username, email address and password is required to conclude the usage contract and to provide the game. Without this information we cannot set up a user account. The information is neither legally nor contractually required; however, without it there is no possibility of using the game.
The data collected during registration is stored by us as long as you are registered on this website. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Game-related data
To use the game, the following data is additionally processed:
- Team name and player data (created within the game)
- Game progress and statistics
- Transaction history (in-game)
- Game activities and timestamps
This data is necessary for the provision of the game and is processed on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
Newsletter
During registration you can voluntarily choose whether you would like to receive our newsletter with information about the game. Signing up is optional and has no effect on the use of the game. The legal basis for sending it is your consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO).
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates. Each newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link for this purpose. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to that point.
Minimum age / minors
Our offer is aimed at persons who have reached the age of 16. Persons under 16 may not transmit personal data to us or register without the consent of the holders of parental responsibility (Art. 8 DSGVO). By registering, you confirm that you have reached the required minimum age.
Deletion of the user account
You can delete your user account at any time. To do so, contact us at datenschutz@kickerscup.de. After deletion, your personal data will be removed unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.
8. Payment processing (Paddle)
For the purchase of paid services (e.g. the premium currency "Action$") we use the payment service provider Paddle. For these purchases Paddle is our reseller and acts as the seller ("Merchant of Record"). The provider is:
Paddle.com Market Ltd
30 Old Bailey
London EC4M 7AU
Vereinigtes Königreich
Because Paddle independently handles the order, payment, invoicing and refund, Paddle is an independent controller for these processes under data protection law. We only receive from Paddle the order and invoice data necessary for the performance of the contract and for accounting; complete payment data (e.g. credit card numbers) is processed exclusively by Paddle and is not transmitted to us.
As part of the purchase process, Paddle processes in particular name, email address, billing address, country, payment data and information about the order. The processing takes place to perform the purchase contract (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO) and to fulfil tax and commercial law obligations (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO).
Payment processing may involve a transfer of data to the United Kingdom and the USA. For the United Kingdom there is an adequacy decision of the European Commission; in addition, Paddle bases transfers on standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 DSGVO.
We retain invoice and payment-relevant data on the basis of statutory retention obligations (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB) for up to 10 years.
Further information on the data processing by Paddle can be found in Paddle's privacy policy at https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy.
9. Marketing and advertising
Marketing cookies
We only use marketing tools with your express consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent at any time in the cookie settings.
Without your consent, no marketing cookies are set and no tracking-based evaluation of your usage behaviour takes place.
Meta pixel (Facebook pixel)
If you have consented, we use the Meta pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland ("Meta"). With the help of the Meta pixel we can evaluate the effectiveness of our advertisements on Meta's platforms (in particular Facebook and Instagram) (conversion and reach measurement) by tracing whether users reach our website after clicking on an advertisement and register there.
In doing so, among other things your IP address, information about your browser and device, the pages you visit and the triggering of certain actions (e.g. completion of a registration) are transmitted to Meta. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO in conjunction with § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG), which you can revoke at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings.
With regard to the collection and transmission of data by means of the Meta pixel, we are jointly responsible with Meta for the processing (Art. 26 DSGVO). The essence of the agreement concluded for this purpose can be viewed at https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum.
The data transmission to Meta may also involve a transfer to the USA. The basis for this is the adequacy decision of the European Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework); in addition, Meta bases transfers on standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 DSGVO. Further information on the data processing by Meta can be found in Meta's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Automated decision-making
Automated decision-making including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 DSGVO does not take place by us. We point out that Meta may use the data collected via the Meta pixel for its own purposes, including the creation of user profiles for advertising purposes.
10. Validity and changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy is currently valid and dated 7/14/2026.
Due to the further development of our website or because of changed legal requirements, it may become necessary to change this privacy policy. The current privacy policy can be accessed on this page at any time.
